But it was not an easy one:
My body was frozen, crippled by festering trauma wounds, perfectionism and inherited expectations.
My voice had carried me through a very challenging childhood but, one day, it all became too much.
The self-denial, the trauma, the hurt. It silenced my heartsong.
I had learned how to stop feeling by barely breathing—but to be able to sing again THAT WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE.
And that's how I witnessed that my heartsong had never left me—I just couldn't hear it anymore.
Until I started singing again, I had convinced myself that I was never meant to be a physician. I had a useful, purposeful job. I was good at it. Everyone approved.
On paper, I was doing everything right. I was living “a successful life”. BUT IT WAS NOT MINE.
I felt numb, hollow and drained. Then I started singing again. AND MY JOURNEY BEGAN.
The journey was arduous, and yet filled with moments of awe & wonder.
There is nothing more liberating than walking back into our dreams.
This is a very raw recording, but it captures one of the most precious moments of my life:
THE MOMENT I KNEW THAT MY VOICE WAS RECLAIMED.
No going back to before, indeed.

When it came time to give myself permission to leave Medicine
and finally live my dream of singing and writing in New York,
ONE REALIZATION LANDED DEEP IN MY HEART.
Physicians were not the ones who saved my life.
That's how much what we do matters.
SINGERS & WRITERS were.
Coaching with Leo was a truly enlightening experience. It helped me recognize my internal roadblocks and created space for real growth, healing, and change.
Leo has a gift for creating a safe space to process emotions and gently uncover patterns. During moments where I felt stuck or frozen, she guided me through meditative and visualization practices that allowed me to release what I had been holding onto.
The result was deeply rewarding—not just in the moment, but in the lasting positivity and awareness I continue to carry with me.
Working with Leo was incredibly eye-opening. It felt so natural to open up to her—like speaking to a friend who already understood me, without judgment, and gently guided me back to myself.
Before this journey, I struggled with insecurity and let my inner critic take the lead. Through our work together, I was able to shift into a place of confidence, self-love, and trust in who I am.
Today, I’m living in alignment with my purpose as a personal trainer—doing work I truly love and leading from a place of authenticity.
“Thank you” is the first thing that comes to mind. This experience was both opening and deeply transformative.
Leo’s loving kindness and thoughtful guidance created a space where I could explore freely. Through her insightful questions, gentle presence, and creative exercises, she guided me with patience—never giving me the answers, but helping me discover them for myself.
Most importantly, I always felt safe and never judged. It allowed me to truly see what’s possible for me in a whole new way.
"Leo is a truly remarkable individual. I have had the great privilege of working with her as a coach over nearly two years. My experience is that she draws on the deep well of her own personal experience and her extensive studies to empower people to reconnect to themselves and rediscover the path they were always meant to walk. Our work together has helped me to understand myself more deeply, to build the capacity to be present with my own feelings and to grow into the resilience necessary to create a full, embodied life. Leo's generosity of spirit and access to her own light are huge gifts that she bestows on the world; it is a wonderful opportunity to get to work with her."
Your voice is the way HOME
LIBERATION TAKES MORE THAN AWARENESS.
We can understand our wounds, name our patterns, know our dreams by heart and yet, remain stuck.
Transformation asks for more than information. It requires integration.
And Voice reclamation is the bridge between inner knowing and embodied living.
Voice reclamation is how we build capacity for our grief, rage, joy and hope. It requires breath, movement and a return to our inner home. It demands devotion to our art and to our truth. And little by little, it returns us to ourselves.
Through voice reclamation, we remember how the truth FEELS. From there, everything changes.
